Vegetarian Recipes – Some Healthy and Delicious Healthy Recipes For Vegetarians
There are tons of vegetarian recipes out there, but a lot of them are not very tasty. A lot of them are just bland. It’s hard trying to find a good vegetarian recipe that is both flavorful and nutritious. I have tried my hand at making some and they just do not taste good at all. So, here are a couple of different ones that I have come across that are not so bad.
This one is an oldie but a goodie. It is a beef stew flavored with onions. The ingredients mix to form a thick stew. It is full of flavor and good for when you have the stomach for a big meal.
This fish and rice combination tastes very good. It has fish, onions, carrots, celery, and white beans. Cook it all together and it makes a hearty dish. It can be served as a meal or served to keep later.
This is a very good Thai chicken dish. I like to use coconut oil for frying the chicken. The result is a tender piece of meat. It also has onions, garlic, and fish sauce. I usually season with salt and pepper.
This has a wonderful flavor. The vegetables used are carrots, cauliflower, broccoli, mushroom, and onions. Put all this together and simmer it on the top rack of your oven. Cook it for about an hour. When it is almost burning, add vegetable juice and a little bit of honey. Mix it all up well and serve with steamed rice.
If you love fish, you will love this recipe. It is also a vegetarian dish, but it does use fish. It is salmon with tofu and edamame. I have not tried this recipe thoroughly, but it looks interesting and sounds appetizing. Cook the fish with the other ingredients and serve it with steamed white rice.
As with any vegetarian meal, this is a buffet of flavor
It has cilantro, onions, bell pepper, tomatoes, and red onions. It also has bamboo shoots, tofu, edamame, mushrooms, and shiitake mushrooms. Throw in some corn and hamburger patties and you have a tasty treat. Most people that try vegetarians recipes for the first time do not get too hungry as they have already eaten the majority of the beans and tofu. Add macaroni and cheese and baked potatoes, and you have an awesome potluck.
Here are two of my favorite Vegetarian recipes that I have made over the years. One is a shrimp cocktail and the other is a Thai chicken salad. Both are easy to make and delicious. If you are a beginning vegetarian cook, start with the easy ones and work your way up to the more complicated recipes as you go along.
Shrimp Cocktail – In order to make this recipe you will need three types of mung beans, shrimp, garlic, and cashews. All of these items can be found at a health food store or even a spice store. Start by grilling the shrimp and when they are done, remove them and drain their liquid. Now you just need to add soy sauce, lime juice, and chicken broth into the shrimp. Mix until you have a smooth paste.
Thai Chicken Salad – This is actually one of my favorites because you can get creative with the dressing. You can use lime juice, peanut oil, lime juice, sesame oil, fish sauce, or whatever you want. It is so good!
This is another great vegetarian dish
In this recipe you will need uncooked rice, bean sprouts, chopped mixed vegetables, chicken broth, mint, and chopped peanuts. Bring all of this to a boil then let it simmer for about 15 minutes. When it does you just add in your fish (scrubs or fillet) and enjoy.
These are just a few of the more popular vegetarian vegetarians recipes that you will find out there. There are hundreds, if not thousands, of them. You can find any type of meat you desire to make them into almost any kind of dish that you would like. You also do not have to worry about hitting the gym or working out hours to make these dishes. They are easy to make and are very healthy too.
