Browned Butter Honey Garlic Chicken Drumsticks Easy Delicious Chicken

Baked chicken drumsticks is a traditional way to prepare fried or grilled chicken. However, when you cook chicken in the oven you can get an awesome flavor that is out of this world. These delicious browned butter chicken Drumsticks can be made in a matter of minutes and can easily impress your guests. These easy to make, no mess, oven baked chicken drumsticks will surely be loved by your whole family.

First you need to get all your supplies together

You will need a mixing bowl set, small bowl, tablespoon, and measuring cup. You will also need oil for the pan that you are going to use, lemon juice, and the food processor. Once you have everything gathered, you are ready to start the process. You will need to preheat your oven, place the lemon juice in a small bowl, and pour in the oil.

While the oil is heating up, you will want to mix the zest and all the other ingredients together until they become smooth. When you have the mixture all mixed, you will want to place the prepared browned butter mix into your preheated oven. You will want to allow the drumsticks to cook for about two hours, depending on the size of your drumstick.

After you have cooked the drumstick through the first part of the cooking process, you will want to remove it from the oven. Using a thermometer, check to see if the internal temperature of the honey garlic chicken drumsticks recipe reaches about 170 degrees. If it does, leave the drumstick in the preheated oven for another five minutes. After that, you will take it out of the oven and place it on a platter for serving.

When the drumsticks are cool enough to handle, you will want to remove them from the baking sheet

Then, you will need to use a food grade stick or brush to brush the tops and bottoms of the drumsticks with the prepared pepper. The purpose of this step is to seal in the juices from the peppers. Once you have brushed the tops of the drumsticks, you will want to let them cool completely before you remove them from the oven.

To ensure even cooking, you will want to finish browning the rest of the drumsticks through the use of a barbecue lighter. Just like when making a honey glazed ham, you will want to light the lighter. Once the drumsticks have reached an optimal temperature for baking, you will place them into the preheated oven. Then, you can continue basting them until they are almost set, but not fully set – just give them a few more minutes to finish cooking.

Once your chicken drumsticks are almost ready, you will need to assemble the rest of the ingredients that go along with the recipe. Most, if not all recipes will require at least four cups of reduced fat sour cream, eight ounces of low-fat milk, and two tablespoons of vegetable oil. You can adjust these amounts to meet your individual preferences. Some people add fresh herbs and onions during the baking process, while others like to keep it simple by adding chopped cooked chicken and browned, chopped onions. It is completely up to you!

In the last step of browning your butter, you will want to stir in your balsamic vinegar and Worcestershire sauce. Then, your finished chicken drumsticks should be placed into a preheated oven and baked at 350 degrees for about one hour. If you’ve never baked bread in your oven before, you might find that this is not a very difficult recipe to master. Just try it!
