3 Foolproof Ways to Eat Fruit the Right Way You Know?

If you’re anything like me, you love to eat fruit. It’s either for breakfast, lunch or dinner, and then some. I swear sometimes it’s hard to decide whether to have a desert or not. Why is it so important to eat fruit? Here are 3 reasons to eat fruit regularly:

Eat fruit the right way you know

-You may have noticed that after eating a fruit you may feel fuller for a longer period of time. This may be because the body needs the sugar to give you energy. Fruit has also been shown to lower bad cholesterol, which is another added benefit. You may even be surprised to learn that eating a dessert once a day can help lower your weight!

-This is probably the number one reason why most people are eating fruit, it’s delicious. When you eat a dessert, you’re going to be craving it and you may eat an additional serving. This allows you to be more selective with your food choices, and you won’t feel hungry while you’re eating your fruit. This may be the biggest reason why most people are choosing fruit over other foods!

-With today’s dieting culture, it’s very common to skip meals and eat snacks instead. However, the body remembers when you’ve skipped a meal and stores that as fat. Eating a piece of fruit at a time will prevent you from storing that fat. Plus, it’s kind of fun to snack on something other than potato chips or chocolate bars.

– Lastly, when you eat fruit, you are giving your body the fiber it craves. Fiber is known to help keep you regular and help you maintain a healthy weight. Therefore, if you skip meals, you aren’t giving your body the fiber it needs, and you’ll probably end up gaining more weight.

Now that we have all the pros and cons, what’s the best way to eat fruit? If you have the time and the stomach for it, there are several good “healthy”-type fruits you can eat in any mealtime. One of my favorite “healthy” fruits is strawberries. They’re small, tasty, and refreshing. You can eat strawberries before you eat dinner and you’re still getting all the fiber and nutrients you need.

Another thing I do is eat fruit when I’m bored

Sometimes my favorite things to eat are simple things like smoothies, ice creams, or banana splits. It’s always good to eat fruit for its nutritional benefits, but eating when you’re bored can add a whole new dimension to your diet. Fruit can actually help you get into a better mood so you have more energy to enjoy your daily routine. So what’s the best way to eat fruit?

Eat as much fruit as you’re able to eat. If you have to limit yourself to eating certain fruit because of time restraints, that’s OK. Just be aware of the calories you’re taking in and try to make up the difference by eating other foods. Eat fruit in its natural state. That’s the way nature designed it to be enjoyed.

Eat while you’re sitting down. Don’t eat while you’re standing up. Whether you’re eating out at a restaurant, at home, or if you’re home alone, place a bowl of fruit on your table and eat it while you’re watching TV or reading the newspaper. This is the right way to eat fruit because the oils the fruit contains won’t stick to your teeth if you happen to be chewing on something else while you eat.

Avoid eating fruits that are difficult to chew. For example, pineapples aren’t very easy to eat. The same goes for bananas that have a hard core. If you find a fruit that is difficult to eat don’t eat it.

Don’t drink fruit juice if you’re trying to lose weight

Fruit juice is high in sugar which can keep you from losing control and eventually putting on weight. Also, most fruit juices taste bad. This means you have to drink more drinks to get the same flavor as what you would get from an apple or an orange.

Don’t over eat when you’re dieting. If you over eat fruit it will leave you feeling hungry for a longer period of time. This means you may end up eating more when you’re not really hungry than you should be. The same goes for overeating which can cause you to put on weight even if you’re not actually gaining any.
